And it goes a little sumthin like this

Well things just keep cranking along. A few updates I finnaly started teaching my class again last night and it went well. I lectured for like 2 hours and was wiped but really excited about it. I think it went well and I think the kids are actually getting something out of it and learning which is pretty cool. I dont know if I will be posting in the next week or so b/c I am going to be out of town. Lisa and I are going to a little town called linden in Alabama to visit some college friends. We leave today and wont be back for a week. I cant wait to leave. I need a vacation so bad and this could not have come at a better time. My only regret is that its not our typical beach bums vacation but this should be a lot of fun to see some "old" friends. SO maybe at some point in time I will start putting pics up on here or seeing how that works.

I dont know what I am going to do I hate to whine but its going to be like a whole week without being able to play FF. But they have an xbox so I am taking games down to play that I have not played yet so I will still be getting my game on. Anyway thats about it.

Oh a little plug. If you like trance music then you have to check out DJ Doboy (www.djdoboy.com ). This dude rocks the free world. His mixes are awesome and I have spent the last couple of days listening to his vocal mixes. I love techno music and vocal trance and all things electronic!

Barely Alive

Well last week was totally sucky. Thats right it was awefull. About Monday I started to feel sick and well by tuesday I was flat on my back dead. It was awefull. I cant remember the last time I felt that sick or that out of it. So long story short I missed about 3 1/2 days of work and played a TON of Final Fantasy 7. I even went to the doctor and they said they couldnt do anything for me so that was a wash but I got new blood work done so it was not a total waste.

For anyone who does not know I have a underactive thyroid (hypothyroid) and becuase of that wonderfull little thing I have to have blood taken at least once every 6 months to have my hormone levels checked. Well the last couple of months I have really not felt like myself. Ive been struggling with some serious depression and have been easily angered. Which for those of you who know me is not like me. So the blood work showed that my levels were way off so they have upped my meds from 50 mcg to 75 mcg of levoxyl. SO im praying that this helps me get back to a more "normal" state. Im also wondering if this is what the rest of my life is going to be like and if this is what I am going to be from now on....

Anyway back to a more chipper topic. Final Fantasy VII. WOW that game owns me right now. I have a slew of new games for my xbox but I dont care about any of them. I just cant stop playing FFVII. As of now im 32 hours in and have just crossed over to disc 2 of the 3 discs so it looks like it will be keeping me occupied for quite some time. I think what makes this game own so much is that the story is amazingly deep. It is so much better than many of the current gen titles that I am really dissapointed in the crap that is coming out now. At this point ive invested 32 hours and I know that I have another 50-60 till Im done. Thats amazing and its almost all story and its a good story. Fable and Sudeki (which I really was anticipating) barely took 20 hours to play and I didnt care about any of the characters like I do the ones in FFVII. I guess im a FF fanboy now. ^_^

Well I need to get back to work but just a quick shout to say Happy Valentines day to everyone and have a nice day with you sweeties!

Its a start

Well like everyone I know has a blog so I thought I would give one a shot. I typically have not been good about things like this but hey its free so we will see how I do. Check back often. Maybe I will even do a real post today. ^_^ But for now this is just for testing purposes to see how it all sets up and works.

work stuff

Well its 4pm and I am usually on my way home by now but yet again something is keeping me at work. Our receptionists computer died two days ago and i am in the process of trying to restore as much data as possible. I have spent almost all day working on this. Its amazing how long it takes to back up a drive. format. and then re-install windows. Oi! But hopefully I can begin the restore process and then leave. that would be nice.
